Magical Realism: Dream Realities

Hello Art Lovers! You are invited to the opening reception of "Magical Realism: Dream Realities" or, in Spanish, "Realismo Mágico: Realidades Soñadas," this Friday, March 22nd at 5:30 pm, with artist talks at 7:00 pm at the Playhouse Gallery, Overture Center in Madison, WI.

I am honored to be a part of this group exhibition curated by the Macondo Project, a collective of artists with Latin American roots who explore themes of identity and culture through the lens of magical realism and their individual process as artists. Macondo’s Dreamed Realities exhibit aims to expand Magical Realism’s exploration of cultural influences, memory and identity to engage the audience in a visual discourse. The exhibition will run through Sunday, June 2nd.
