I’m excited to share that my piece “Seeking Something Missing” is part of the 2025 Artdose Edition! Thank you to Frank Juárez, Founder and Publisher of Artdose Magazine, for the opportunity. It’s rare that I offer prints of my work, which makes this collaboration even more special.
An exclusive, limited-edition screen print of “Seeking Something Missing” was created by Julia Scheckel of AP3 (Anchor Press, Print, & Paper) in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Each print was hand-pulled through eight layers of ink, capturing the depth and movement of my original painting.

About “Seeking Something Missing”

Painted in early 2022, Seeking Something Missing reflects my journey into motherhood — a role I stepped into in March 2020, just as the world was shifting. It captures the beauty and disorientation of caring for my daughter while trying to hold on to my own sense of self. The black gesso background became a space to pour out the uncertainty, exhaustion, and intensity of that time. Through layers of acrylic and oil pastel, this piece reflects my longing for what felt familiar and the resilience that carried me through transformation. I hope this artwork resonates with you.
